With Overland Expo SoCal’s massive turnout, both from exhibitors and attendees alike, our editors spent a good deal of time and consideration picking what we’ve deemed the best rigs of Overland Expo SoCal 2025. With over 19,000 attendees, hundreds of exhibitors, and dozens of classes, demonstrations, and all the best and brightest overlanding gear available, making the call was tough — but we did it.

Based on the enormous success of Overland Expo SoCal — the most successful event launch in Overland Expo history — it stands to reason the show will be back in 2026 with a bang. The best place to scope out interesting rigs is in the Showcase & DIY Area, where a curated selection of unique vehicles is on display. The owners of these vehicles have agreed to camp in this space for the weekend and host “home tours” for any and all interested attendees.
